Fropodz Pty Ltd is an Australian registered company producing modular pods for residential and small commercial sites across Western Australia.
One trade sequence, one workshop, one delivery.
Adding a room the conventional way means a slab, a frame, a roof and then a queue of trades, each waiting on the last and all of it exposed to the weather. A pod inverts that. The module is completed in a controlled workshop while the only work happening on your property is preparing the ground it will sit on.
That approach suits a specific kind of job: a defined, self-contained space — a studio, an office, a guest room, a treatment or hobby room — where the value is in getting a finished, insulated, properly lined space rather than in extending the existing house.
We stay inside that scope deliberately. Fropodz builds pods; we do not take on general home renovation, and we will say so early if a pod is the wrong answer for what you are trying to achieve.
Three commitments we hold to on every job.
Measure before you promise
No quote goes out before someone has stood on the site with a tape. Access width, gate positions, overhead wires and ground conditions all change what can be delivered, and finding that out late is what turns a fixed price into a variation.
The quote is the scope
Inclusions, exclusions and the finishes schedule are written down before the build starts. If something needs to change mid-build, it is priced and agreed in writing rather than absorbed quietly.
Say what is not included
Plumbing and electrical connections, council applications and site works are often owner-arranged. We name those boundaries at quote stage so nobody is waiting on someone else to organise them.

Our registered address sits in the WA postcode 6030 area on Perth's northern coastal corridor, and that is the geography our detailing is tuned to.
Sand and limestone
Coastal Perth ground behaves differently to clay. Footing type and how a module is levelled after set-down are decided on what is actually under the pod, not on a standard detail.
Coastal exposure
Salt-carrying wind is hard on fixings and finishes. Cladding, fasteners and external hardware are selected for that exposure rather than for the cheapest line item.
A long, bright summer
Orientation, eave depth and where the glazing goes do more for comfort than any amount of cooling added afterwards. Those are drawing-stage decisions, so we make them at drawing stage.
